Canal Works

10 Canal Street has been many things in its history dating back to the late 1800's including a wallpaper mill, seed warehouse, radio manufacturer and now an office building. One of the unique aspects of the building today lies on the top floor — a series of artist studios that further enhances its charm. Above is a picture from 1910 when it was a wallpaper mill. Note the horse and buggy on the left side of the picture. Of course, it looks a lot different today!

Directions from Pennsylvania via I-95:

Take I-95 to the Bristol Exit.
At the end of the off ramp, turn right onto Rt. 413
Go to the end of Rt. 413 at Rt. 13.
Turn left onto Rt. 13 North
Go about 1 mile to the light with the Burger King in front of you and to the right
(If you pass the turnpike entrance, you've gone too far.)
Turn right at this light onto Beaver Street.
Follow Beaver Road through 5 stop signs and past the post office.
An elementary school will be on your right after the post office.
(If you reach a stop light, you've gone too far.)
Turn left onto Canal Street which is adjacent to the school.
We're in the Canal Works building — the large stone building on your left.
Park on the street or in the small lot in front of the building.
Come in the first green door and up the red/yellow stairs one flight.
Turn right and our door is the first one on the right — TargetX on the glass door.

Directions from Pennsylvania via the Pennsylvania Turnpike:

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to exit 358 (formerly exit 29), Bristol/US-13.
After the toll booth, follow signs to US-13 South
Follow US-13 South for about 1/2 mile to the first light — Burger King on the left.
Turn left at the light onto Beaver Road.
Follow Beaver Road through 5 stop signs and past the post office.
An elementary school will be on your right after the post office.
(If you reach a stop light, you've gone too far.)
Turn left onto Canal Street which is adjacent to the school.
We're in the Canal Works building — the large stone building on your left.
Park on the street or in the small lot in front of the building.
Come in the first green door and up the red/yellow stairs one flight.

Go over the Burlington-Bristol Bridge
Once into Pennsylvania, go around the Rohm and Haas plant on the right.
Stay in the right lane until the end of the road at the light.
Turn right and stay to the far right through the blinking yellow light
Proceed through three lights
At the fourth light (grocery store on right corner), turn left.
This is Beaver Road.
Turn right at the first street - Canal Street — just after the Grundy Recreation Building
We're in the Canal Works building — the large stone building.
Park on the street or in the small lot in front of the building.
Come in the first green door and up the red/yellow stairs one flight.
Turn right and our door is the first one on the right — TargetX on the glass door.

Directions from Northern New Jersey:

Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to the Pennsylvania Turnpike West
Exit the Pennsylvania Turnpike at exit 358 (formerly exit 29), Bristol/US-13.
