Higher Education Marketing Firm TargetX Ranks Among ‘Fastest Growing’ for 6th Straight Year
College recruiting company TargetX has again made the prestigious "Philadelphia 100" list, compiled each year by the Wharton School. CEO Brian Niles attributes continued revenue growth to the firm's ability to anticipate the needs of admissions officers and provide the technology and services that help them succeed in a rapidly changing environment.
BRISTOL, Pa. — TargetX, the nation’s leading provider of student recruiting technology and services, has been named one of the fastest growing companies in the Philadelphia region for the sixth consecutive year.
With revenue growth of 72 percent, TargetX again made the prestigious Philadelphia 100 list of fastest-growing, privately-held companies in the 10-county metropolitan area, which includes parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
The annual Philadelphia 100 ranking is coordinated by the Small Business Development Center of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
By qualifying for the fifth time last year, TargetX was inducted into the Philadelphia 100 Hall of Fame, reserved for companies that have not only demonstrated rapid revenue growth, but have been able to maintain it over an impressive period of time.
"To make the list yet again is further testament to the talent and commitment of the people who make up the TargetX team," said Niles, who was personally honored last year when he was inducted into the CEO wing of the Hall of Fame.
"We offer a unique combination of industry-leading technology and unmatched expertise," he added. "Clients respect and value our products, but it’s our knowledge and experience in college admissions and marketing that they cherish most."
TargetX has evolved over the past 10 years from an email marketing company to a pioneer in interactive student recruiting to the leader in "relationship recruiting," a term that reflects the increasing demand for colleges to engage their prospects and develop a relationship that leads to enrollment.
The heart of TargetX’s ability to help with relationship recruiting is its new Student Recruitment Manager (SRM), a powerful CRM system designed specifically for college recruitment. The SRM is the first completely integrated, customizable, expandable and reportable suite of recruitment management tools.
"We’ve combined a revolutionary way to manage student information, a consumer-friendly student portal for applying online and scheduling campus visits, and the electronic communication tools for which TargetX has become known and respected throughout the industry," said Niles.
TargetX is also the industry leader in the increasingly critical area of in-person events, including campus visits and open houses. TargetX’s Jeff Kallay is higher education's first "Experience Evangelist," and the award-winning executive is respected throughout the industry for his ability to advise colleges on staging more memorable and authentic experiences.
"No other company offers the breadth of technology and services to recruit today’s Millennial student," said Niles. "The quality of our products and people make it possible for us to continue our dramatic growth."
TargetX was also recently named to Inc. magazine’s list of fastest-growing private companies for the second consecutive year.
