Step 1: Sign up
Call Jill Duppler at 877.715.7474 ext 113 or email her to schedule your training program. Once we get you registered, you’ll get an confirmation email letting you know how to schedule your travel as well as a short survey to help make your training most effective. We’ll also send you an invoice a few days later.
Step 2: Look up
Next step is to make your travel arrangements.
Use the “Plan your travel” section of this site to look up flights*, driving directions, hotel recommendations and other planning information. Feel free to pick our brains as well if you need some guidance. It’s just like having a local best friend to go to for travel advice (only you’ll never have to help us move).
*If you are taking a full-day or afternoon course, we don’t recommend booking a return flight that leaves before 7:00 p.m. Eastern.
Step 3: Pack up
Here’s our official “ETC packing list.” Don’t forget to save room for S.W.A.G….
☐ Laptop Don’t forget your power cord!
☐ Casual clothes We want you to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
☐ Something to take notes on If you’re not a laptop person, be sure to bring a notebook and your favorite pen. You’ll want to write this down.
☐ Business cards For networking with TargetX staff and your classmates
☐ An open mind… that’s ready to soak up tons of great information! We’d say a well-rested one too, but we know that’s probably pushing it.
Step 4: Show up
Plan to arrive at TargetX a half-hour before your course is scheduled to begin. You’ll want to leave plenty of time to get settled, grab a cup of coffee and mingle with your classmates and faculty (or other random TargetX-ers who may stumble by…)
Follow the directions provided in the “Plan your travel” section of this website for help on getting to TargetX Headquarters at Quaker Park in Conshohocken.
Parking is free and available in our lot.
Enter through the doors with the “1001″ on top and look to your left — that’s us! You’ll be greeted and we’ll take it from there.
Your registration fee includes lunch and other refreshments as well as any course-related materials. Once you’re here, we’ve got you covered.
Step 5: Listen up
Once your course begins, your only job is to take it all in. After all, this is what all that planning was for! As with anything, you’ll get out of the experience what you put into it — so do your best to “be present,” participate and take full advantage of this time spent with us and your colleagues in higher education.
Step 6: Follow up
Following your time with us, we’ll ask you to complete a post-visit survey and evaluation of your course. As always, we appreciate your candid feedback as it helps us get better.
Our goal is to provide you with an educational experience worth telling your friends about. Be sure to let us know how we can help you better spread the word about TargetX’s ETC.
As with anything ETC-related, contact us if you have any questions whatsoever. We strive to make this entire process as simple and stress-free as possible. Keep in mind we can’t control the airlines, but hey, we’ll make a few calls;)
